Sweat

My interesting thought for the day, but somewhat disturbing, is the amount of sweat that would have produced at today's round the bays. I say I would have sweated at least 300ml and then if every participant did the same on average, knowing that some guys seriously sweat. Taking a conservative 75,000 participants that equates to 22,500l of sweat. Now isn't that a nice thought.

The 2006 Round the Bays was my first. Inspired by Kipker to give it a crack and came in at a very standard 48mins. Not quite the 36.5mins by Kipker, but still a good effort for myself. It was really fun, to be out running with so many people. It took us 8mins to actually get past the start line after the gun went and we were close to the front. I think I will aim to do it again next year. A good way to spend a Sunday morning.

Sustained growth.

I am struggling to get into regularing blogging. My goal is one a week, I think it is achievable.

Well from my last entry I have dealt with my anger. I must admit last week was very frustrating but it had a good ending. Our house did finally go unconditional. The house no longer has to be forever sparkling clean and no more weeding, YAY :) So we are now house hunting, I enjoy this side so much more. Not sure what area we are going to end up living.

So the house roller coaster is over but still on the work roller coaster. Still having some issues there but working through them. Taking some control back, do not want to play the victim. A few new things could possibly turn out for good very soon, will keep you all in the loop as it comes to pass.

Tonight I just finished my last assignment for my uni paper management of people and organisation. Exam in 2 weeks! It is an interesting paper but a lot of reading and writing. I have been blessed with Kylie doing all my proof reading on my assignments. She easily adds 20% to my grade. It is a shame she can't proof my exam paper as well!

I am listening to The Treaty by Cindy Ruakere as I write, this album is so cool. I haven't listened to it for ages.

I am so gutted about U2 getting postponed. Seeing U2 play live is one of my life goals so looking forward to ticking that off my list. Another one on my list is to go to a soccer world cup match which will be a lot harder to get to than a U2 concert.
