20,000,000mm + 1,000,000mm

I did it, even if it was only just faster than a walking pace. The Auckland half marathon that is. Well I actually lie, it was a little slower than a speed walkers pace as I was actually taken over by a walker at the 18km mark. A little depressing to have a speed walker fly by. I tried to keep up for 100m to not be 'shamed out', but I couldn't do it. I was offically wasted, my legs were like dead weights. I came in at 2:01:30', a little slower than I had wanted but none the less happy to complete my longest run ever. I think I will be keen to do another, I can see how people get addicted. The training isn't that fun (even the small amount I did) but race day is alot of fun.

Ahh, time to get ready to watch Prison Break. I have enjoyed it but slightly annoying on how slow it has gone. Finally tonight they actually do some prison breaking!

Good stuff Vince! Congatulations on making the line.

(I'm sure that's further than all my running combined over the last 5 years.)
